Searching for its prey

This eagle never mixes up with any other birds and not even its own species. I see it perched on top of our water tank searching for its prey.
That took me back to a memory when I was a kid. These birds go for chickens and one day a chicken got dropped from its beak and fell in our compound. Mother nurtured it. As chicken had a broken beak mother had to hand feed it every day.

Wow, that bird there sure does appear like a dangerous predator. We probably don't have that species of bird where I live. I am aware that they serve a purpose in maintaining the balance of one species' population in our ecosystem. I just don't know if they also hunt other animals besides chicken, which is their major prey.

@allknowing They can get very cheeky. Now that no-one ever kills/shoots them now they hang around the rubbish bins in car parks.
