Am I Paranoid?!?

It has been two days that I cannot do multitasking while teaching online. I am feeling being paranoid that my current company is controlling it. There is nothing wrong with my Internet speed. I read some articles that hackers can do this. At the back of my mind, my company is hacking my computer. Is it possible that they can control my computer's software?

Yes, it is very possible that they can control your computer and everything you do and you type. I suppose you have software installed to monitor your work.

That is the reason why I hate my company. Believe it or not, when I created this discussion. The slowness of my computer stopped. I guess they had seen my suspicious against them while typing.

@LadyDuck You said it right. They even enter my classes online sometimes. They are like policemen on duty.

I think it is possible especially when they have software being installed in your computer for monitoring. I have a friend who works with other country online and they have a software that is installed in her computer for monitoring purposes

I guess I am right with this concern for a long time. I remembered that they asked us to install their software on our computer. Now, I know. I am trying to find a good VPN to deal with this concern.

Yes some companies do these just to deter staff from abuse of the internet, to me it is not bad.

If the computer you use belongs to them or if you gave them access to the software on your computer then maybe they are controlling what tasks you do.

I owned my computer. We were asked to install their software. I figured out that they can access it. I am thinking what app to block them. Any idea?

I think it's possible if they require you to install software so that they can monitor your work or activities.

Now, I know. Since I am using their software, they can access and see what I am doing while teaching online. I do not mind if they do.

I think my hunch is right. Since I installed their software, I sometimes cannot control my browser. I am still thinking about how to stop them. Any idea?

@Shavkat uninstall the browser. Re install the.browser. Check the software you installed and see what permissions it has And finally ask the people who supplied it what it is supposed to do

I think usually the anti-virus can check it out. Scan your computer and then see what's going on. Sometimes if there are strange things happen and it is not easy to figure out what's wrong. The simple way is to reinstall the operating system again and all the troubles will be gone. If not, then usually it is the hardware problem.
