Even when it stopped raining it was very dark and cloudy most of the time. So I didnt do anything really. My pickles did not come out right so I dumped them. But I did get the tomato juice water bathed. Hoping the seals hold this time and that the juice dont go bad. Those cheaper lids I bought need to be water bathed at least.
That is about all that I did. I thought about working on my sewing but I couldnt get in the mood for that even. I hope to work on that tomorrow as I will want what I am making this coming week.

I never had much success in canning so I freeze whatever I can. That tomato juice would be easy to freeze. My youngest daughter cans fruit on jars and so uses up most of the fruit of her trees. I freeze apricots but they are one good for cakes.

@wolfgirl569 My deep freezer is quite new. I bought it with the money I earned at Bubblews

@wolfgirl569 I have only one (not so big and in the garage) and the one that comes with the fridge. The deep freezer turns the food colder than the other one so it is better.

@marguicha We got another one a few months later. I transferred the meat to the other freezer and canned all my vegetables to save them. We have 2 freezers in the garage.

It was a quiet day here, too. We finally found a bell pepper on one of our plants and the one tomato plant is loaded with tiny baby tomatoes and blossoms. 
I cut open a new watermelon and cut bowls of it for Pretty and I. (Then she spilled her bowl. 
I asked if she wanted me to cut another bowl for her but she said no. *shrug*)
The dahlia is looking good. Can't wait to see it fully opened!

I have a couple of tomatoes on one of the great white plants. Hopefully they start blooming again as they get more leaves. Thats the plants that had the tomato worm on them.
Thats watermelon abuse. Tell her she needs 30 lashes with a wet noodle for that

@wolfgirl569 It will drop the temp about 10 degrees. But unfortunately also increase the humidity to nearly 100%. Whether it's the heat or humidity (or both), we always get screwed.
