Hurricane warning.

Puerto La Cruz, Venezuela

A few weeks ago there was a hurricane warning in my country, Venezuela. Thank God, it was downgraded to a tropical storm. And now we are fine. As you can see, the picture is of the beautiful blue sky. View from the patio of my house. How are things going in your countries?

That is so great that it went to a tropical storm. The sky is beautiful.

Yes, the sky was beautiful. As they say "after the storm, comes the calm".

I would really hate to have to live through a hurricane. I'm glad it's fine there now.

I cried as I heard the news. It would be the first hurricane in my country. And it is hard to imagine something like this. Thank God nothing bad happened, and we are fine.

@zulfrontado It sounds like the climate might be a bit different in Venezuela too.

I am glad it did not develop. It is unusual for countries in that part of South America to be bothered by hurricanes.

That's right. The bad thing is that Venezuela is close to the sea. At the same time it is good, because of the climate and the beach.
