I was reading this somewhere in a magazine, exercise helps in better and sound sleep... But funny part for me, the more I practice exercising the more enthusiastic I become and my sleep hours decrease.... Though, I don't get up tired but it's just that number of sleeping hours decrease.... What you think....??? Does exercising helps you with better sleep

I agree with ,@Beestring, it depends on the exercise you do. If I walk this helps me to sleep better, but some hours before going to sleep.

I don't exercise just before going to bed. I meditate or listening to some music.

@Beestring Same as you, I relax before going to bed, usually reading a book.

I think it depends on the exercise you do. If it's walking or just some stretching exercise, it may help sleeping. For me, meditation helps me with better sleep.

It may be that the sleep you get is more restful. They also say not to exercise too close to bed time. If you feel more rested that is what matters.

Exercise always makes me feel more awake and energetic. I probably wouldn't sleep if I did exercise in the later part of the day.

What kind of exercise do you do? What time of the day do you exercise? Do you fall asleep easily and stay asleep throughout the night?

Yes. I have proved it. I jogged for almost 2 hours covering 7 km. When I got home I felt very tired and after lunch I went to sleep quickly.

I think it will definitely help. As they always say, go out and do some exercise or physical work so that at the end of the day, you are tired and can sleep faster.
