Bar Soap or Liquid Cleanser?

Just bought two bottles of liquid cleanser for body wash because I get 50% off for the second bottle. My skin is very sensitive, I just use those which are very gentle and fragrance free. I use liquid cleanser for hand wash too. I prefer using liquid cleanser because I find it more convenient and neat. Actually, one main reason is that I can find liquid cleanser for sensitive skin easier. Here, stores mainly sell liquid cleansers. The choice for bar soaps is limited. Do you use bar soap or liquid cleanser for hand and body wash?

I have sensitive skin too and tend to get eczema from time to time. So for me liquid soap is way better than the bar soap.

Sometimes when I try other product it doesn't seem to suit my skin that's why I stick with Dove it is gentle on the skin and makes it smooth.

I think I"d rather like the liquid one. It's a lot handy to carry and easy to use as well.

It appears that people have switched to liquid cleansers. Stores here sell very limited choice of bar soaps.

I gave up on bar soap years ago and have never looked back, even though bar soap is cheaper and I am a frugal guy. It just works better for me.

@Beestring Plus, they always seemed to have left a sort of film behind. Never liked the way bar soaps felt on my skin.

I've used gentle liquid cleansers for many years. Bar soaps make my skin dry.

I use liquid cleaner. As to the soap, I will use it to wash my hands. Due to Covid-19, I will wash my hands more often. I think it is cleaner to use soap to wash hands rather than the hand liquid.

I see. There are many liquid cleansers in the market which can kill 99.9% bacteria. I think bar soap and liquid cleanser are equally safe to use.

We have liquid soap for the washing machine. Bar soap for daily kitchen dusters, etc and Vim bar for the vessels.

I don't like using bar soaps because they get so gross after awhile. Though it's wrong that we throw away all the plastic bottles from hand and body washes. They should somehow make it reusuable.

It has been a long time since we bought bar soaps. I guess they are now less in demand. Liquid cleansers are convenient and we get more varieties in them. They are also more mild and friendly for sensitive skin.

@Beestring Same here. As more and more people move towards the liquid body wash, their demand and market is shrinking.
