The life of a police officer in Leesburg Florida is unpredictable since what are the odds that an alligator who was in the streets of Leesburg yesterday when an alligator that was running away from police officers managed to get stuck underneath one police car. The alligator that fled from the police officers managed to get half of his body stuck underneath the police car. The police officers did take it easy on the trapped alligator by using their skills to free the alligator out from underneath the police car while at the same time not injuring the animal. The act of getting the alligator out of underneath the police auto was successful without causing damage to the police car where the alligator was trapped trying to avoid capture by the police officers. The fate of the alligator is not known if the alligator was released at the scene of the incident or taken to a body of water nearby by the police officers. It is interesting that police officers on occasion have to deal with chasing animals that are loose on the streets with has a much better chance of no one getting hurt compared to chasing a criminal who might be armed with a weapon.

I am glad to hear that both the alligator and the police car were not damaged. Poor police officers are given more than their regular duties to preform.

That is true since the salaries of police officers is small compared to the workload they have to work with.

I am sure that the alligator will be going back to a lake or body of water either by a police officer or a game official.

I heard about reptiles like that in florida. But makes me wonder wheres the animal control when their the ones supposed to deal with these alligators. Cops supposed to deal with humans. I wonder if they were even trained to deal witht he gators.

I think that the police are trained to deal with reptiles but are told to keep their distance and when they need help call the animal control officials.

Maybe they had to jack the car up off the crocodile.

I am sure that the police will contact the game warden to get the alligator back to his water area.
