Favorite Captains?

I was looking at a list of famous fictional captains. The list goes from Captain Ahab, Captain Solo, Captain Sparrow, Captain Kangaroo, Captain Malcolm Reynolds, Captain Kirk and beyond. There are more listed but to me these are the best ones.
There are many others to choose from, but I would pick Captain America. He has such high moral standards and doesn't put up with anyone using God's name in vain or any other obscenities.
He is someone you could always trust, and he will never give up doing what is good and right.
I know it's a bit sappy, okay really, really sappy, but I think this is the type of hero we need today in all our turmoil going on in the world.

I’ll go with Captain Kirk. Unless he’s singing “Mr. Tambourine Man.”

@FourWalls Please I'm begging you don't sing it, and Mr. Tambourine man threw away his tambourine and now he's only known as Mr. Man. Mine isn't as funny as yours but I still tried.

@jstory07 Yes, he's kind of my hero because last year William Shatner went up in space in a rocket owned by Jeff Bezzos. Age should never be a limit to us. I keep telling myself that anyway.

I don't know about star trek captains, they all have their moments you just can't compare. Captain America is good with leadership roles, but not as smart and suspicious like Tony Stark.

My favorite is Captain Kirk. I was a big Star Trek fan as a teenager. I always thought he was so handsome.

Did you ever watch Castle? The same actor plays the main character, and for Halloween he comes out as Captain Reynolds. His daughter said that was so five years ago, and at the time that was how long the show had been cancelled. I thought it was really funny. The quality isn't that great.
