Hi there. Hope you're doing all okay.
Before I took my lunch at 11:45pm as a customer service representative of an online shopping site for fashion dress and shoes that should be 11:30pm, I don't know if I'll be fun or whatever I should feel with my last customer. My lunch was been late taken because of her. But no worries, I've assisted her with my best.
I received her chat at 11:20pm, 10 minutes before my scheduled lunch. Her query was about refund for one order number. I've assisted her by checking the tracking and in about 3 minutes, I'm done with that refund. I'm too fast with that. Then after that, she mentioned, I have 2 more order numbers to check for a refund. I've checked it and did the 2nd order number in 3 minutes also and for the 3rd order number took me long because her tracking number makes an error. I've double check and manage to refund it after about 5 minutes. Then after that, I've asked "anything else?"
She answered, can you check another 2 order numbers. Of course, although with hesitation because it's already passed 11:30pm but I still need to assist her. I did checked and do the refund of the total of 5 order numbers in total of 25 minutes. To which, I've ended up late lunch of 15 minutes.
Although, I can return back at 12:44am because my lunch will be adjusted.

That's a lot of refunds. They may even prevent her from ordering again.

Glad you got your time adjusted. The company I used to work for wouldn’t do that one of the many reasons I quit after just one month lol

Yes. In terms of lunch and breaks, we can do adjustments as long as you need to notify your supervisor why you're taking your lunch late.
