That didn't quite work out...

I took my cross stitch project with me because I was going to stop at the craft store to see if I could get some embroidery floss and then go to the Health Center Pharmacy to get my meds.
I had planned on going to the craft store first, but the stop wasn't announced, so I missed it. I wound up going to the Health Center pharmacy first, where I got my meds, then walked back to the shopping center where the craft store was (about a block).
When I found where they had the embroidery floss, most of the little pockets where they had the different colors were empty, and none of the yellows they had seemed to match the color I had been using.
I went next door to the Tuesday Morning store to look at their lamps, and they had some nice ones, but they were all more than I could spend in price right now, even though their prices were still reasonable.
Aside from getting my medication--and being able to read a little more in my current book, most of that trip was a bust.
Oh, well--at least I got some walking out of it.

It sucks when what we want isn't available. That's why I turn to online shopping for my yarns. Here in my city, the available yarns are very limited, not only in colors but the type of yarn.

We all have days where we all encounter some bad luck getting everything that we seek to accomplish during the day. There is always tomorrow.

You didn't get what you wanted but you got physical benefit of moving around. You lost but you won, if I may say that.

You haven't totally missed the trip. He managed to bring the medicine. Worse are those days when nothing goes right.
