My favorite lunch place

My meal wasn't as good as I expected. Oh well. Do you all ever buy hot dogs from the vendors outside there?

@1creekgirl If we happen to be there at the right time we do. The smell of frying onions is hard to resist.

Serves to be a good marketing strategy and that people do make purchases since consumers rely on what they see most of the time

Thanks, the fries were old which has never happened there before. But they have new employees like everywhere now, but at least I wasn't charged for them.

That's true. I seldom make them at home, they're not real healthy, lol.

@Marilynda1225 I never can make the right kind of chili for hot dogs and a little slaw is too much trouble to make.

@1creekgirl I only have them occasionally too but they are good. Don't know why they always taste better out

That's funny...we often have fries (chips?) with hotdogs.

To cut down on the home monotony

It wasn't as good as usual due to new staff, but still not so bad.

No, the fries were old. But the hot dog was okay. Tea wasn't fresh, either.

Yeah, we just bought it in November, so it was time for the 10,000 mile maintenance schedule. Our last car was also a Toyota Camry (it was a hybrid) and we had it for 12 years with never a problem. We were tempted to keep it...I think it had around 117,000 miles on it...but the hybrid battery is very expensive to replace when it wears out, but we decided to trade.

The name changed from Andy's to Hwy 55, but everything there is still the same.
