What Was Your Dream Job When You Were A Child?

Yes, I remember that I wanted to be a "Ballerina".

I went through phases in what I dreamed of being. The little girl in me thought I wanted to be a nurse. But my home situation was beyond terrible, from age 16 on up I had to work full time (or even more than that) and go to high school full time, too. I still look back and wonder how I did it all. My dreams changed as I had a sister that depended on me. I wanted to own a restaurant or be a chef, too....I did go to college for food service management, hotel and restaurant, and so forth. I also taught food sanitation classes at a college. It all worked out somehow, I'm still alive!

My dream was simple just to work in an office but I ended up being a teacher

When I was at school, there were limited options for girls - teaching or nursing were the most common if you didn't want to work in an office.

When I was kid, my dream job is to become a news reporter.

I wanted to be a teacher and I got a BA in Early Childhood Education. I never taught or ran a day care. None of those jobs paid enough or had medical for my children.

My dream job was to be a nurse and I pursued it when I graduated from high school. I worked in labor and delivery at our local hospital and loved it.

My dream job changed an almost daily basis! Then the dream faded

When l was six years old l wanted to be a policewoman. As an adult that is the last job on earth that l would want.

I always wanted to be a nurse. My Mom was sick and hospitalized most of my life. Nurses were sort of like angels I guess.
