I Got Confirmation and Approval

I’ve written about the double murder of Neal and Brendan Abernathy, long time family friends before, and I’ve actually written several articles on the subject, always worried that the work I did on the case would actually open old wounds for Susan, (Brendan’s Mom, Neal’s Wife) But she was at Aunt Dianne’s birthday celebration, which is what she wanted instead of a funeral, but I digress. Susan was there, and we were actually able to have a good conversation. She thanked me for the articles I have written on the case, and actually told me they were helpful. I know this family, and writing about this case has become something I have focused on from time to time in the past, twenty five plus years, I asked if she minded if I continue, and she gave me the blessing.
