Miami Dolphins Owner Found Guilty

Ok, so he wasn't really on a trial or anything. There was however, an investigation. When the Miami Dolphins let go of head coach, Brian Flores, he brought up quite a few accusations and all of them with their own degree of severity. The one that was investigated for six months and was found to be at least assumed was the fact that the owner of the Miami Dolphins, Stephen Ross, was tanking games for better draft picks. The consequences of these findings is that the dolphins were stripped of their first round pick in 2023. The owner himself has been fined $1.5 million and has been suspended through October 17th. Ross is not allowed to be in the Dolphins facility or rep the team at any event. He also won't be able to attend the annual league meeting in 2023. The co-owner, Beal was also fined $500K and banned from league meetings for the rest of the 2022 season. I have to admit that when Flores brought the allegation up, I didn't think anything would come of it. I mean why would you tank games for better draft picks? You should want to win. According to what I'm hearing though, a lot of it is what and how he said certain things. They can't do much more than fine him because the team did at least try to win. Consequences had to be doled out due to even just the insinuation was enough to compromise the integrity of the game.
