So we were sitting in Denny's eating breakfast and this man walked over to my son/grandson and asked him if he was in the service. He overheard him ask if they give Military discounts and yes they do. He handed him a Visa gift card and said have a nice vacation. We used it to pay for the breakfast and it was a gift card for $700. I though things liked that only happened to other people.. What a nice surprise that was. He paid for breakfast with it and got his military discount which saved him another 15%. Everyone left today. I got love from all of the great grandchildren. My great grand daughter was crying she wanted to stay. And no I did not just spoil her. She is so cute I wanted to. But I did not. The picture was mine taken by me.

@crossbones27 life is getting more and more difficult, the more difficult it gets the lesser we see these types of people so it's unlike the generations before us. Maybe and most likely it's somebody who understands the principle of giving, became prosperous and continues to apply it.
@crossbones27 true, I agree with you. I see some parallels, the Philippines use to be one of the richest country in Asia before it started spiraling downwards, the corruption, the inflation, homelessness and lose of jobs, deteriorating moral values etc..etc.. The only advantage the U.S. has now over the world is the dollar is still the world currency and the federal reserve bank could print as much as they want but it won't go well in the long run, good luck to you and God bless your country. Yes kindness goes a long way, wars only enrich people in the arms industry so hot spots favour sales.

Very nice picture, Judy:) I adore our great grandchildren, also. All three of them are so loving and sweet, it's hard not to step in and try to spoil them! Taylor is a soft-spoken, gentle mother and their children are exactly the same way! That man was very kind, giving your grandson a $700 gift card:)
