Nothing surprising you might say but here in our garden we have had several species of birds but I never saw a sparrow in the years we lived here. Sparrows in general I understand are not seen around here. They used to crowd grocery shops helping themselves eating cereals piled up in gunny bags I am seeing one in the last few days perched on one of our bushes that I can see through my window almost touching the house She chirps so that I can hear her. There is only one bird and I hope she will soon get a partner. Do you see sparrows where you live? The image is picked from wikimedia commons as I could not click her. @allknowing Yup. With now the pollution going around, it's hard to see them in groups.

@sathviksouvik I had a friend - a senior - who used to sit by the window of her house and keep some feed for the sparrows on the window sill. They just flocked there.

A sparrow is a pretty bird. We have a lot of black birds here. They are in all of the trees here.

@jstory07 , you are lucky there, you have different kinds of birds. I seldom see here in my location a bird.

I don't think we have sparrows here. We have swallows but they are a bit different.

Their home is our home we shared!! difference is that they live somewhere on the roof and we live inside the room. Every morning and evening we use to feed our domesticated chickens and as they are accustomed to it all they fly down and join our chickens to eat grains Sometimes I see one particular sparrow bullying our dog flying down near her and sometimes zigzag way.. wonder what did sparrow tells to her that she get annoyed
