The Week Is Starting On A Bad Foot

About one hour ago, I went to put my laundry in the dryer only to find out that my washing machine stopped working for me.
The clothes did not get rid of the water and it is obvious that I am in trouble now.
I called the repairman and left him a message but who knows when he is going to call back.
Not what I wanted for a Monday morning.

@marlina Oh that is good but hurry up Wednesday.
That is what I fear here as you know the slumlords will fix nothing.
So if this washer breaks..it will sit here for months.

Hopefully it’s something simple to fix like a clogged filter or drain line. Has the repairman made a diagnosis yet?

I understand how important it is to have a working washer and I had that problem quite some time ago and had to get a new one. It was an expense I could live without but had to be done. I hate when things just do not go right when you need them do and that is how your day starts off. I hope the washer repairman will get back to you and solve the problem.

That happened to us a few months ago when my daughter was doing her wash. She wrung her things out as best she could and finished the process at her sister's house instead.
Since our washed was over twenty years old we bought a new one instead of having it repaired.

@marlina When my washing machine was down, I ended up buying a new one instead of getting it repaired which could be quite costly.

Now that surely isn't a good Monday! I didn't have a good Monday ending. I suffered from a backache but now I woke up to a Tuesday with no pain so all is good.
