Today I woke up, or rather was startled awake by an early morning hard rain. The one unexpected clap of thunder is what startled me. But, after weeks without rain, I was thankful for what we got. Made the morning muggy, though as to be expected.
This morning while I was out, I literally ran into a couch cushion that someone let fall in the middle of the sidewalk. I had trouble getting around it so I eventually moved it. It wasn't easy though.

How lucky you got that rain . . . wish it would come this way. It is muggy here though. Why do people leave "stuff" in place where they shouldn't be? People are leaving their big furniture pieces out on the curbs, but some of it does get on the sidewalk. Saw dresser drawers on the sidewalk the other day
