We went to the hospital yesterday for my nephew to be checked. He complained about difficulty of breathing. While at home, he said he cannot breathe, and he thinks he is going to die. I am suspecting that the mobile game is the reason he is thinking about it. Today, we are going out, he needs to be out instead of being confined inside the house. He thinks of bad things.

@DevMrSamEleazar I told him to tell his nephew he can't play those games if they scare him that much. It's too expensive to take him to the hospital when nothing is wrong except the game scared him. Because you told me to watch the link!

I don't know about his nephew but that game you suggested I watch gave me several jump scares! Pretty laughed when she heard me scream once! I told her it was all your fault!

At the very young age of 8 he is thinking too much. He said "mamamatay na yata ako, tito".

@yoalldudes We started going out of the house since Tuesday. I praise God it is working. His thinking was diverted to the things he does outside. They went to SM and went to Quantum. Ate at his favorite fastfood. Yesterday, I tagged him along when I did my grocery. And today, we went to Starmall and bought him toys.

@jobelbojel Being in front of the screen too much can be causing this. Just my guess. Poor boy I hope you are able to go out for an outing or something so his condition wont worsen. He is too young.

Why do you think the mobile game is the reason he thinks it?

@LeaPea2417 I don't have idea but seeing my other nephew watching gameplay on YouTube, it is somewhat challenge games. A player needs to play a certain stage and needs to finish it. Been telling them to stop playing.

@jobelbojel At 8 he should limit playing video games to a maximum of a couple of hours a day and never in a row, 30 minutes and a break.

Why would playing a game cause him to have problems breathing?

They are playing too much. I think he is into the game and feel it. Too much thinking. His heart beats too fast and he says he is thinking about dying. He is 8 years old. And to talk about losing his life at an early age is giving me worry. The result was good. O2 reading was 98, blood exam turned out to be good as well.

@jobelbojel He's feeling anxious because of the game. I'd tell him he can't play it anymore. Of course he's fine. We would tell him to stop being a drama queen.

I think you should check also his mental health. It could be an anxiety attack that could be triggered by what you suspect it the game that he is playing. But there are many other things that could trigger as well so better watch it and maybe that could be prevented if you have some preventive measures in place when he feels that again.

How old is he? And why couldn't he breathe? Does he have asthma. Even before the mobile game became a fad, my then 4-year old son slipped and got his knee scratched so bad. She went to my sister who happens to be a doctor crying and asked if he was going to die. Yes, he thought he would die from a wound coz it was bleeding so badly.

I am worried but I am not showing to him.. He was unable to sleep early thinking too much. And this morning when he woke up. I want to breakdown but he doesn't need to see it. He stopped worrying and thinking when the TV was on Superbook and juggling from Cocomelon to funny babies videos on the beach.
