Summer heat is still around, so as the rain. They seem still at arguing stage and betting on who will stay for the next days, weeks, months... That's why sometimes it is hot, rains heavily and windy, but it is good for farmers who are trying to finish replanting the paddy plants. A few months ago, my younger brother was almost scammed by an unknown number. He had just entered his college. He called me with excitement and told me someone was trying to send money to him. Me, confused, asked him how?, who?, and why that person was trying to be generous to him. After inquiring, I learned that he had been chatting for months with an unknown user who was following him on social media. My state of reaction was to get furious or stay calm in spite of telling him several times these were likely to happen and he needed to avoid and block such users and numbers. The last message he received was " Brother, when are you sending the amount. " My younger brother thought by sending him the asked amount the scammer would be transferring the large amount ..., he thought the scammer was generous and likes to help people. What the...!! I often receive such messages and always block and report them, but these kinds of messages always pop up and many innocent people fall into them and lost their savings. Sometimes they even call and tell us that our debit or credit card will be blocked if not this and that.... One last thing I asked him was to report and block the number of users. No matter how much we blocked them, those scammers will still find ways to scam others. After following those messages, reading my brother's chats what I have understood is that the first messages are scripted and the scammers are expert in social engineering. That's how people like us get scammed and lost our savings. Picture is mine

Scammers are experts. You can’t get rid of them but you can ignore them. Many people fall for scams and don’t understand their money is being stolen.

We really need to be careful. For them it is all about money to be stolen from others.
