As a lot of you know, I have been eating quite a lot of Italian food these days because my boyfriend is Italian. But sometimes I do feed him Asian food too. His favourite Filipino dish is adobo. And he loves it when I cook it for him. It is the first ever meal I cooked for him.
This one is pork adobo. It does not look much but it tastes very good specially since I marinated it in soysauce, vinegar, garlic, and onion for 24 hours.

Why say it "doesn't look much"? I think it looks delicious. Your boyfriend is very lucky.
It's not quite 9 am here and I just made chicken and noodles for breakfast.
Photo is mine.

@flapiz Food doesn't always need to "look pretty" for it to look delicious.
If you don't mind a suggestion, next time, put the food onto a plate that shows it off better before taking the picture. You might be happier with the way it looks in a bowl or on a plate better than in the pan.

@DaddyEvil Oh that is true. I haven't even added the rice to this too.

That marinating I am sure gave it the taste you talk about.

It looks delicious. I can imagine the good taste if you marinated it in soysauce, vinegar, garlic and onion.

@flapiz I think we have something similar. We have pork marinated in different types of sauce.

@flapiz I’m not sure if there are a lot of Filipinos here where I live. I haven’t really noticed any around, although it could just be that I haven’t been paying attention.
