I will the first to say I would never have a python as a pet under any circumstances since I have heard the horror stories of the animal choking to death any human being that messes around with one. A female owner who lives in Bozeman Montana named Rae has as her favorite pet a python named Lucille Ball who I guess the python who is 17 years of age in memory of the late comedian who starred in my comedy programs throughout her career in the entertainment career. When Rae was moving out of her home in Bozeman earlier this month on August 2, her python managed to leave her enclosure and go outside to get some fresh air. Rae after she realized that her python went missing, she asked her neighbors to contact her if they were to locate her python. Five days later the python was seen in the garden pot of her former roommate named Miles who picked up the snake that according to Rae, her snake would harm anyone. Rae did file a police report with the Bozeman Police Department to report the incident. When the python was located at the neighbor's home, Rae was contacted by the police that her python was found safe and sound. The funny thing is that a five foot python if another person would see the python, they would freak out seeing a snake that seeing a cat or dog for obvious. reasons.

I could never have a reptile as a pet, they just don't seem all that cuddly to me although I suppose a python might want to give someone a squeeze

Neither can I since pythons are known for killing humans since they do not know their own strength.

Yes, they can kill and I believe they know exactly how strong they are. They are beings that are only interested in their next food source and procreation and can swallow large animals like deer. It might be that snakes are the only animals that do not fear humans.

I would never have a python or any snake for a pet. I wonder what he did for food , probably ate someone’s cat or a small dog.

I would avoid having a snake in my home. They are known for killing humans with their squeeze power.

@RubyHawk I have read magazines and seen television shows that pythons have the strength of Hercules in choking their prey.

@Deepizzaguy Pythons are strong. I wouldn’t want to be near one.

Glad the police in the picture was able to laugh. So many times when the police are called it isn't a laughing matter.

Well, I'm glad Rae got her python back. I'm not that afraid of snakes; but I don't think I'd pick up a python.

Most snakes that I know of are harmless. I am safer having a German Shepherd or Black Labrador as a pet than a python.

The most likely scenario since even pythons can get homesick.
