Not a good Monday start

Good morning Tuesday. It's 5:13am here. I just ended my shift of not in good numbers.
At the start of my shift last night at Monday at 8pm, I've seen a not so good numbers with surveys coming from the customers I've assisted.
I've received 2 surveys of detractors last Saturday and another 1 detractor for Monday morning. The worst part of these 3 detractors were from the customers I've assisted last July 13, 21 and 29. All coming from July.
As I've checked all of them, my assistance to them were good, however due to process, they gave zeros due to shipping carrier didn't deliver on time.
And the next agents assisted to them advise incorrectly but the score came into me as I'm the one who did the final closed. And based on the survey system, whoever the last gave the final closed is the one sending the survey link.
Although, my colleagues sent also survey link but the customers chooses the link I've sent in which it's unfair.
So, it became not good a start to me that makes a result of another detractor on the middle of the shift because my Canadian customer didn't agree that there's custom charges imposed by their government.
I don't want to be rude but Canadian customers should be aware already that any international shipment is subject to custom charges. That customer said, our warehouse is only coming from Atlanta, GA, USA in which few miles away from Canada. But they don't realize that still USA and Canada are different countries.
Makes sense?

@luisga814 In a way, yes. But, international anything isn't normally taught in schools. So it's no wonder there's ignorance of how things works.

Your client is wrong, there are three main taxes for shipping from US to Canada customs fee. Goods and Services Tax that is a 5% tax for all items send into certain provinces in Canada. Provincial Sales Tax that is 6-7% tax is charged on top of the 5% GST tax you need to pay specific provinces.

@luisga814 - He has just to check the Canadian Customs site to know. He wants a discount for sure.

@LadyDuck Yes. That's correct. However in our end, we're not proactively offering goodwill discount unless customer will not asking. So, in that case, I didn't provide goodwill discount. Lol.

@LadyDuck Yes. That's correct. In which I've already explained to that customer but still disagreeing that no need to pay those. I don't know if he's complaining with that assuming that ignoring the law or just asking for a discount.

I am so sorry the people do not realize nothing you can do about this and it is not for them to rate you bad as you are providing the best service you can possibly do.

@luisga814 Of course it is as if you can control that. People are very ignorant and should stop taking all these issues out on you.

wow Canada is not near Georgia. My uncle was a teacher and an elementary principal. He used to say how he felt sorry for kids today because they don't know anything anymore.

I follow some yarn friends up in Canada and they always complain about the customs charge--it does make an item more expensive, but I would have thought that they would understand about the customs charges--huh--

@Juliaacv I'm not generalizing all Canadian customers. I'm just sharing that my last customer was a Canadian who used not to accept the custom charges because of not aware of the custom charges in which I tried to explain. I'm sorry, if you think, I'm generalizing the Canadian customers.
