Good morning Tuesday. It's 5:42am here in my mobile phone.
I'm just opening this discussion just to check if majority here are ordering online?
I do know that some of you are ordering online. However, some of you ordering online coming from the warehouse in your own country. And some coming from international warehouse shipment.
So, for those ordering from international shipment, are you aware that there's custom charges in each of your order?
If you're a first time ordering international shipping, you must be aware that there's a custom charges that your country will charge it. Sometimes, there's custom charges from the place of origin and another custom charges to the place of delivery.
Are you aware of this?

Customs charges are added up front to anything we get that has to come from another country. Pretty and I don't order very much online but we are aware there are customs charges when freight comes from out-of-the-US.

Yes am aware of that but lately I am seeing that the prices that I buy locally are much higher than those I buy from abroad. I do not know why but I was expecting those sold locally should have to be lower since they are sold locally but then it is not.

@luisga814 I do not know but when I compare them the foreign products seem to be cheaper the only thing is that they only delivered later as compared to local products.

@luisga814 Even before online shopping became a fad in the philippines, I was already an online shopper from eBay. So yes, very much aware of the custom taxes particularly in our country.

I do sometimes. I have Amazo Prime so I get free shipping if I order from Amazon, which I frequently do.

I don't order internationally, but I am aware of this. After all exchange rates are also something to be aware of when having to convert currencies.

I do not order anything from overseas ever as it is too much long waiting time and too much involved.

I do alot online shopping on Amazon. I have been ordering diamond painting kits (it's a hobby like cross stitch) which mostly come from China. I didn't know that there are custom fees.

Yes, I'm aware of customs charging. I sometimes get yarn from Turkey and England, and they do indeed add the customs charge onto the price of the items. Most of the products I order are in a warehouse about 20 minutes away from our house (Amazon), which has been great!

I haven't ordered anything coming from another country but I would assume there would be custom charges. It's a good reminder though for those who order from another country
