Job Search Momentum for September

Two days ago, I've heard back from Jamie from my 2nd nudge. She apologized for not getting back to me since she had been busy since then. That's understandable. All she told me was she'll work on writing my amended plan to get me moving (probably sometime in September), and she'll email me later this week. I don't know if she meant the referral and/or IPE plan. So far I haven't gotten it yet. Hopefully I'll get it tomorrow or Friday. When I do, I'll update you on what she said and on anything new. She'll probably send it over to Maggie early next week if it's a new referral. And I'll probably hear back from Maggie before or after Labor Day Weekend, putting my two-week work adjustment trial plan in inventory around 9/12-23/22. That's my guess before my new CBA staffing meeting happens on the following week. So I just have to wait a tiny bit longer, like I've been doing for the past month. For now, I'm keeping my August/early September volunteering days as is for the zoo, the bird conservation project, and the shelter. I won't be scheduling anything new for daytime activities, except for weekend nights at the zoo when they're posted for scheduling. When I hear back from Maggie, I'll shuffle them around to later in the month and be flexible anyway I can. That's it for my end. I'll check in with you all tomorrow afternoon since I have a long six-hour shift to volunteer at the zoo today. Have a good one.

Maybe a seasonal job like in food or in retail. That's about it. There's a temporary Animal Keeper job for the Avian Unit. Though Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred, they said an Associate's is required. It's only for six months, though I can't lift anything over 10 pounds. I'll see if there's an open interviews at my pet shelter next month and give it another try. I have eight months of volunteering there (mostly in Cat Care) to qualify for experience.
