Shelly Berman is another funny Jewish comedian who was popular in the 50s and 60s. He was born in 1925 and died in 2017. He received three gold records and a Grammy for Best Comedy Album. He performed well into his eighties. My favorites of his comedy skits are "Department Store Window Ledge" and "The Morning After the Night Before".

Remember Louie Nye, Steve Allen, and Don Knotts? They did some funny skits on Steve Allen's show.
