Safety patrol

We found out today that my middle son is going to on safety patrol at school. 5th graders apply for spot like they would for a reason job with the help of us parents of course. We hadn’t heard all summer so my husband went up to the school asked about it. They said an email should have been sent but we probably just missed it or something.
So he is excited and has a meeting for it next week before the school year starts!

Safety patrol for the students is making sure the cross walks are covers when cars are passing throw so keeping the younger kids on the side walk till it’s clear. An adult usually helps. They also make sure that there is order when the students leave the building or enter the building at the being or end of the day. They also can be asked to help walk a younger student to there classroom.

Lol I think he gets a lot of that already with him being the middle child also being in boy scounts, and gaming.
