So, the guy I was talking to this morning, told me he would be back about 1pm to do the job. I said fine. Well...guess who shows up at 11:30? . Like I don't have anything to do but wait for him. I could have been in the shower for heavens sakes..I wonder how many customers he has...? Oh well, he seems to be doing a good job. If I hire this guy again, I will stress that is the only time I am available or something..Goofy guy.

Sometimes I'll get calls from people I hire to do a service if they can come early. But, to just show up? That's just rude.

He just showed up this AM, and then an hour and a half earlier than the agreed upon time to actually do the work. What if I hadn't been here, and he did all the work to load up his mower and so forth? it was dumb on his end too. I bet he is divorced...

I hate when people show up hours before the time we agreed... I could not be at home.

@LadyDuck Well, we are talking like an hour and a half early. That is not right...plus he showed up yesterday AM without calling.

@snowy22315 - If I am at home and not busy doing something, I do not care, if they show up at the wrong moment I am upset.

Some people don't realize customers have other things to do. I quit buying eggs from my niece's little boy because I wasted too many days waiting for them to deliver. I offered to pick the order up, but no. They think everyone can just sit home for a couple of days in a row to be there whenever they decide it's convenient for them. I buy my eggs elsewhere.

Yes, or at least call and say is it OK if I come over early?

He's too far for the agreed schedule. He might have explanation.

Some people never seem to consider others. They just go their own merry way.

Yes, and I think that is a big personality flaw.

Hey, that's pretty cool that he wasn't late. I wish I could find someone who'd help me here but that hasn't worked.

Well, there is that. But people who do this as a business of sorts should adhere to their word. They should know enough to do so,

Yes, it was annoying. If he wants to work for me, he is going to have to tow the line.

Well, just give him a due respect. He may have something to deal with personally. That's why there's a delay.
