As of yesterday the Deshaun Watson has settled with the NFL.
The terms of settlement were 11 games suspended, 5 million fine and he must attend behavior therapy of sorts. I think they called it counseling.
The press conference held at the Cleveland Browns stadium was what left everyone wanting more.
Watson stood on his innocence saying that he had done absolutely nothing wrong. There was an apology however, it was not for the women effected. It was for everyone effected by the accusations and the ongoing trial or whatever you want to call it.
Mostly, and I am paraphrasing here, everyone just wants to move on and glad that everything is final so they can.
That was the owner, coach and Watson as well.
I'm not sure what I think on it as they haven't really been forthcoming with evidence or testimony about this case.
Compared to all the others that were accused of any type of domestic violence, there is nothing to see. All the past players have been crucified in the media with all evidence and testimony there for us to make our own minds up.
This whole thing is just weird.

The victim and the accused should have the final say and not the media.

@JordanLader The celebrities have the right to defend themselves and take the help of law.

@aninditasen And he did. However if you put the trial and crap in the media then you need to put the evidence in as well. There also shouldn't be favoritism with players. All the other players had to go through it so should he.

When you are in the public eye however, people will hear about it and want to make up their own mind. Like any other celebrity, we either root or condemn them based on the evidence that we see or hear. Media never has the final say but we people who follow the said celebrity would like to make up our own mind.

I'm glad it's over. The other two quarterbacks performed well in the first game of the season. We shall see how Deshaun performs when his 11 game suspension is up.

We'll see. He will either suck or he'll come back with a vengeance.
