Weird Movie

I watched a really weird movie last night. It had Hillary Swank in it and so I found it to be enough weirder because she was in such a movie. Also has Betty Gilpin("Glow", "Nurse Jackie") in it as the main character. Hillary isn't in it much. It is labeled as a sly satire.
Basically, it is about 12 strangers who wake up in a clearing not knowing why and what happens afterward. They are being hunted for sport by rich "elites". Most of them are blown away right away. Crystal, the main character, has military training and has been in Afghanistan. She leads the show and finds a man who befriends her to be one of 'the hunters' and ends up killing him.
It ends with a long fight sequence between Hillary's character and Betty Gilpin's. Hillary's character has some weird reasons for this hunt.
I guess that due to the El Paso and Dayton mass shootings in 2019 the release date was moved back from September 2019 to March 2020.

I wouldn't have continued to watch it but my curiosity gets the better of me and I have to know how it all ends.

@RubyHawk .......I am very curious. Once I start watching something I have to see it all the way through. Very rarely will I just stop watching. Being a want-to-be writer I want to see what the writer does with the story.

Movies are usually postponed like the one that you posted on this site since out of respect for the shooting victims of these tragic events, it would not be in good taste to release a movie after a tragic event since the studio would be accused of making money after a tragic event.

I'm glad they are postponed at least.

@celticeagle It is better to delay a show or movie after a tragic event than face criticism of being insensitive.

Thanks for the review and critique. I think I'll pass on this one.
