Source of motivation

Giving you guys some back story last few months, I am a bit demotivated due to some tasks on hand at work. Deadlines burns me out from Monday to Friday and I can't seem to get the motivation needed. But seeing some of my posts in Facebook before earlier as I ate my breakfast seems to lit a small fire inside of me.Those were my post almost a decade ago when I organized cosplay conventions. I became happy all of a sudden because I thought for a bit that I was part of something great at the very least. It was hard, but it was definitely a blast. This is also one of my post in Facebook 10 years ago; "I am now motivated no matter how hard it may be for me to bounce back. The fact that you're motivated will be the burning fuel for what you may want to achieve. So what the heck will be my goal? challenging myself to surpass myself for what I am now. I need to be better than before." Sometimes these small reminders allow us to step back and think about the things that motivates us. I am so happy that I had these reminders as well within my reach. Nostalgic as it may seems but it is somewhat helpful to go a trip to the memory lane. Then you will be more thankful as you will tell yourself; "hey! Not bad. I made it this far." What is your source of motivation, guys? Let me know in the comments. Hope that helps others, too.

Source of motivation is to look at Brainy Quotes on the internet. I like one saying that reads "If you quit working, then why did you start?"

Yes I understand you. It is right to look back in this case as your memories of what motivation you had back then can help you light a fire within now. I remember for myself, my career I had doing hairdressing and how much fun I had and it does light up my day and think more of myself.

I agree! Something to look bacik is also a source of inspiration. It is good to know that you had been a hairdresser before. That's quite challenging but fun career, too. How many years had you been a hairdresser before?
