Late last week, I ended up buying a new "gaming" keyboard from Amazon. I think it was around $60 or so, but it was less than half of that (that I paid out of pocket), since I used some Amazon gift cards I had. It was supposed to come on Tuesday (tomorrow) but it actually arrived yesterday, so that was nice! I really like it. The keys are much easier when typing, as opposed to my previous keyboard, which was more like hard-to-press keys.. If that makes sense. I think this one will be good for computer games, and anything in general. New electronics are always nice, I find

I am glad that it's working for you and you can type much easier on it. I've gone through my fair share because I type so fast.

Thank you, I appreciate the kind words! I type fairly fast as well, and usually go through a keyboard around every 2 or 3 years (or so it seems). Although this keyboard is easier to type, I feel like my typing speed is a bit slower on it.. But can't complain haha

@dilleo It might just be a learning curve. As you start using it more, you might find it's a lot faster. Whenever I get a new keyboard or a new laptop, I'm a bit slower at first, then I'm right back to my normal speed. Though I feel I'm much faster on my MacBook for some reason. I think it's because Macs are designed to work best with more keyboard commands, so it naturally makes you a lot faster.

@kaylachan Very good point, makes a lot of sense! I don't have much experience with laptops, but I do feel as though I can type better/faster on desktop keyboards.. Could just be me though!

The letters were wearing off my old keyboard, not that it affected me much. I was due for an update and now I have a nice new laptop. I hope you win lots of games with your new keyboard.
