Meals 8/25/22 and Husband Update

They did not release my hubs yesterday because the output in his urine bag was dark red. Until they resolve that issue, he will be in the hospital. I hope they let him out today. Please think positive thoughts! His Godson/cousin has moved on to another location; so I will need to find someone to pick up hubs from the hospital. Our housekeeper's (hubby's 2nd cousin) wedding is tomorrow. Don't know yet if we will attend.
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Leftovers from Red Lobster - Clam strips, bay scallops, mashed potatoes
Dessert/Snack - None
Dinner - Protein bar

There are several things that can cause dark red urine... I hope your hubby has one of the more benign problems and is released from the hospital today.
We went to the allergist yesterday for my monthly shot. We were exhausted when we finally got home so went straight to bed. I ate a sausage, cheese and croissant biscuit before I went to sleep and a handful of peanut M&Ms when I woke up. Then ate two mandarin oranges yesterday evening.

That probably doesn't apply here but sometimes when eating beets urine is dark red. I hope that everything will turn out well.

I think there was a puncture wound when the catheter was put in. It seems to have resolved itself now.
