When to Take Your Vitamins

Do you take a multivitamin daily or perhaps a single vitamin or even a mineral? Did you know that these may need to be taken at different times? Multi-vitamins are best taken with food or a snack because your body actually absorbs these better with food. But, if you are taking a single vitamin there are some that you will want to take about two hours apart, while others may keep your body from absorbing others. So, you will want to check online or ask your doctor to be sure you are taking them the right way for the best absorption.

I take Vitamin C and D3. My doctor told me to take them when I take my morning meds and that would be fine.

I take my vitamins at first breakfast, which is usually just tea and some dried fruit, sometimes a few potato chips. Hasn't harmed me yet.

I've been taking multi-vitamins everyday for the past decade or so, since I've been diagnosed with Leukopenia, a condition when there's a decrease in white blood cells. I take mine with food and water usually during lunch time.

I don't really take vitamins, though I probably should. That sounds like too much work to worry about when to take them though
