I left the business

I was doing well with Pure Romance, well I thought so. Then all things changed and they wanted us to make 200 a quarter, don't seem like much..but for someone selling only here and there wasn't going to make it. So I thought hard on it and decided to leave. I'm on to new adventures now with my other company that don't have a quota like that.

@hillhjill And, that's perfectly okay. You can't expect to please everyone.

@hillhjill Being obliged to reach a quota is too much stressful.

@LadyDuck it was very stressful and the CEO just kept getting worse and worse..a lot of people left after he changed and he cut commission in half as well.

Best of luck with your new venture. It is always good to leave a company that demands too much. I don't like to be with a company that makes the target so high it is not easily achievable.

Thank you, and it does make it hard for us little sellers, the big wigs don't have anything to worry about.

Good decision to leave a company that demands too much of you to meet their high quotas.

It was a lot of thinking because I really enjoyed the company. But it's just getting ridiculous.

@hillhjill I know what you mean when your former employer makes it hard for you to enjoy your work.

There are plenty of companies that would appreciate your sales experience that don't have such a strict sales policy. You will find something even better!

I'm with a great company now, I was with them before Pure Romance and put the other company on the back burner. But now I'm doing it full time trying to get my sales to take off.
