It’s Way To Hot

Sonora, California
September 2, 2022 11:30pm CST
105 today, and it’s been that way for a few days. Had to go and run errands, so went early in the a.m and it was already hot, really doesn’t cool down much at night. Went Yesterday to Nancy’s main location, I took the day off but still found myself there to find out if the hygiene kits were ready for the needy, unfortunately not until Tuesday. Got a few things at her thrift store, because the money goes back into the ministry and I get a good discount. Anyway that’s what’s happening here. I’m so ready for this heat wave to go away.

I just looked at my computer temperature, at 6:25 a.m. it's already 65 degrees here in Atascadero CA, so it's going to be a stinker hot day. We may hit that 115 degrees F today.

I will admit that's quite warm. lol. But I am still not ready for winter, even though I would take a California winter over the one I will get here in Illinois.

@Michellekidwell I hear ya. By the way, the word "too" has two oh's and the word "lose" only has one.

I hope you get a good rain to cool the temperature down. We are currently at 80F, went upstairs to sleep but it's a lot hotter than I thought. So A/C is now doing its job.

Gee, you sound like me going to the thrift shop. My neighbor and I are going to the one that's just up the street. This is their 60% off sale that goes on the first Saturday of the month. We're taking her car because I broke my ankle in three places (one was a compound break and had to be surgically repaired) so I can't walk yet without my crutches. It's a Christian thrift shop so the money goes for great causes.

Heat wave is dangerous especially to the elderly. It's good for you that you have a thrift store there. Here we don't have. Anywhere you go everything is expensive. No price control. Profiteering is a crime here but no one is being charged and put in jail.
