I got some work done on my book today!

I just got done adding a few paragraphs to a chapter in my book about a favorite kid I worked with. This will be one of the longer chapters in my book, as I worked with this child for several years, and had a good relationship with his mother. I kept up with his mother for a couple of years after their departure from the "program," but do not know how she and the child (he would be in his teens by now) are doing today. Feel free to hassle me to keep working on the book. I want it to be done before I am. I will send snippets if asked.

I'm glad you made time to work on your book. May I ask about Horse Jr? I haven't seen you mention him in quite a while now. How are he and his mom doing?

@DaddyEvil Yeah, me too. They did sing me a birthday greeting over the phone. I wonder if mom is still looking over Horse Jr's shoulder. He's almost 14 now.

I love your photo. I am just done with a writer's conference. I guess this is a good time to hassle you about continuing on with your writing project.

Maybe I will write a few sentences now. I AM tired. Today did not go exactly as intended. But we did play music and I do have money in my pocket.

@vandana7 You spelled Julissa as I spell Julissa. She was a delight. I will change the name when I publish the book. Confidentiality and all that.

She was willing to work with me around parenting issues. I even helped potty train the little guy. Some moms (but not that many) were resistant to help from their adult and child counselors.

@TheHorse That's pretty good. She's helpful. She has the heart of a good mother. She's doing that because of your exemplary deeds on working with the kids.

It is a good thing to devote time to Book Writing if one has the ideas. May be you can set a scheduled time for 1 hour twice a week. This way you can perhaps complete the Book in some time?

The boy looks cute. You have written about him as long as he was with you. Now you might be having other students on whom you can concentrate and get stories for your book.

I sure hope so. It will be well-written, and "to the point." But will it "fill a gap" that has not been previously filled? I do not know.
