Good Morning 9/12/22

Good morning everyone!! I have to say that it's a very good morning. Better than I've had for a while. The good news just kept coming this weekend. So if you've followed my random posts on here, you've seen that I've been dabbling with tumblers as well as the other crafts. Well, the tumblers seem to be the hit. I have four businesses interested in what we're doing and have done mock ups for three. Today I take one business two samples to see of she likes them and maybe we'll get that one. Fingers crossed. Chris is also going to Brandi's massage place today so she'll be displaying more things. The crystal necklaces will be on display there and she finished the table for just tumblers. This morning though I have to get a lot done so that I can deliver today. I thought I would be able to do more over the weekend but I couldn't. Yesterday was the 9/11 memorial and I have to say it was really awesome. Our county mayor and pastor and we had a veteran group there that I can't remember what they were called, all had facts and to hear them out loud once again was heartbreaking. All county first responders were recognized as well. They said stand up and let the county know who you are as I don't think many realize who makes up all the first responders. Granted we all weren't there but there was a fair amount. It's something I won't forget. Saturday was training and it rained like crazy. I couldn't get a thing done plus I didn't have what I needed then lol. It was also the day that we had lunch with Chris and her husband to talk business. That led us to go to one of our favorite places and more tumbler making. Chris wants to help so hopefully I'll have help soon. It's just going to take time and patience. She just wants to do whatever to help. Maybe at some point I'll branch out to shirts. I want to but I seem to have my hands full already for the end of the year. The tumblers did a lot better than we expected. I haven't done any computer work lately because for some reason my computer has been slow and freezing. I just gave up last week and started working on other things. Today it wants to work so maybe I'll actually get some work done lol. The housework got done yesterday which I was extremely proud of. All I have to do is fold the laundry which I can do while the tumblers are baking. Things are looking up in general. Dad has his surgery tomorrow on his foot. They're replacing a vein and with some luck it'll help relieve some of the pain that he has. He can barely walk now so fingers crossed this helps. I have a book to write a review on as I finished the ARC the other night. The weekend was just crazy lol. The supernatural puzzle is FINALLY glued and I can get that put away today. What is everyone else up to? *Picture from our Smithville Alderman

Uhm... what gets shown at massage places isn't supposed to be sold, legally. I hope everything works out for you both! You've been working hard on it for a while now. Good luck!

Thank you! The tumblers took off faster and better than we expected. As for my dad, he did this once before and he'll get through it again. I'm not sure which is worse for him the surgery or after it because he hurts so much during both times
