Going out on a Monday

Today hubby and I are going out to a restaurant for his cousin's birthday. Since he is working late today he won't be able to come home and get me. I will have to meet up with him in Brooklyn and then we will drive together to the restaurant. It will take me close to thirty minutes just to get to a train from my house and then I have to take the train for about eleven minutes and transfer to a bus. It is showing rain and thunder in late afternoon and evening. I hope I won't get caught in the rain or I will get soaked.

No rain at all. Took an umbrella for nothing. But didn’t wanna risk it. I ended up getting to Brooklyn earlier than I thought and had to wait for about an hour for hubby to finally get me.
