My Day Is Off To A Good Start

Happy Wednesday Everyone! it's a beautiful sunny day here today
My morning started off with a chat with my Aunt. We talked about family, enjoyed our coffee together and of course which book we're currently reading. She's an avid reader so I always have pen and paper handy so I can jot down books she's read. I've never been disappointed in what she recommends.
My big plan for today is to call and cancel my cable. I don't even know why I've held on this long but my new bill came and it's gone up again. We don't have many choices for cable companies here so I'm just going to either go with YouTube tv or Hulu Live. I know I should have done this ages ago and I guess this hike in price was just enough to make me finally call.
Tomorrow the dog groomer is coming and poor little Mush desperately needs some pampering. She's starting to look like a ragamuffin.
My oldest daughters birthday is Oct 1 so I'm trying to think of a nice gift. I asked her what she wanted for her birthday and she just shrugged her shoulders and said "I don't know".
Nothing exciting planned for today. I don't expect exciting and am happy to enjoy a sunny day.

I always like to get my daughter something special for her birthday. She's always doing so much for everyone else and never puts herself first. This year I'm at a loss
I think Mush secretly knows she's looking like a ragamuffin

I went to the Music Therapy class to help out this morning. Seeing the children's improvement really made my day.

Need electric fan, found one very good price, Mainstay. Bought online for me pickup today. Fan unavailable for..not for free shipping too

Staying home now. Weather forecast, rain from tomorrow. Laundry done early. Probably Saturday for shopping, weather permitting.

If you have Amazon prime you can stream their stuff, sometimes you can get a pretty good lineup of shows depending on what you like.

Good luck figuring out something for your daughter's birthday. I've stopped asking Pretty. She just shrugs and says she doesn't need anything. Sometimes I can find something I think she'll like and sometimes I'm stuck telling her to pick something out when we go shopping. But, when I try that she tells me not to waste money.

You should definitely cancel the cable if the prices keep going up.

Does your daughter like to eat at a specific restaurant? Does she like food gifts? You could get her a gift card from a restaurant or some food treats. Our cable bill has gotten out of sight. We still haven't dropped them though. Peacock streaming is having a special -- $1.99 a month for 12 months.
