Hello MyLot community, great to be back! I feel so sad that the good gracious Queen Elizabeth II at 96 has died. The whole world is mourning. She left 4 very grown up children, a lot of grandchildren, her kingdom, or queendom, the world. Although we know that at 96, she will soon die, we still feel sad for the loss of a Queen whose presence we feel everyday throughthe media. How do you feel about the loss of the Queen?

Not everyone mourns the queen's passing, especially those countries that experience imperialism and colonization by the British empire.

@Beestring The Hong Kong colony was well managed. But I understand many British officials especially in the police department got rich dealing with the triads.

Yes, I understand. Since I live in a commonwealth country, we can feel the sadness and there’s a 10 day mourning. We miss seeing her doing her royal duties on TV.

@vickyrose I think more people will miss the queen given how the new king hasn't given anyone a good impression with his fussiness about those pens.

I feel sad that one of the classiest Queens of England passed away after living 96 years on this planet. As the old saying goes "Sobering truth and eternal hope."

Quite sad indeed the loss of Queen Elizabeth. Canada will have a national day of mourning on Monday.
