PM Modi on his 72nd Birthday launched World's First Cheetah Rehabilitation Project in India!!!

Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing well too. Our Honourable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi's 72nd Birthday was on 17th September, a Saturday. On this day, he has launched "World's First Cheetah Rehabilitation Project in India" in an effort to revolutionize and diversify the ecosystem and wildlife habitat in India. On Saturday, around 11:30 am, 8 cheetahs among which 5 female and 3 male were released from two exit points in Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh which were imported from Namibia, South Africa. The Cheetahs had got extinct in India since 1952. However, since seven decades, no efforts were made to bring back this species to India. He has thanked the government of Namibia for providing support as a helping hand in the success of this programme. The Prime Minister has said that India believes in doing economic progress along with saving the mother nature and conserving the environment. This initiative will help generate lot of employment opportunities in the local areas as it will give boost to Eco Tourism. He has also said that "People of India need to wait patiently for some time as the cheetah from Namibia are our guests so they will take some time to adjust themselves in Kuno National Park after which they will be open for sight seeing". I feel it's a great initiative taken up by our Prime Minister in maintaining the ecosystem and for the conservation of Wildlife Habitat. Let me know your thoughts about it. Have a good day!!
