The Old Liar in Chief Resurfaces

Don't get me wrong. I kind of liked Bill Clinton when he was president. Regardless of his "side antics," he actually, especially in his second term, lead from the middle and I think his presidency mostly worked.
But let's be real. He was a scoundrel and a liar. And a BIG one. And he is still at it.
Recently he appeared in the limelight and said that the GOP will find anything they can to scare the living daylights out of swing voters in order to win elections.
Wait. What? This has been an age-old tactic of the LEFT. Not the right.
I mean, who can forget the ads depicting republicans tossing grandma in a wheelchair over a cliff crying, "They're going to take away your Medicare." They have said the GOP wants to cancel social security.
The left has long run on things like, "They want to poison your water and make your air unbreathable."
Joe Biden even campaigned before a black audience and threw his arms up and warned, "They want to put you all back in chains!"
This is not to suggest that the right does not use any tactics like this. But to suggest this is a GOP thing to do? Patently false. And Bill Clinton knows it. I guess it really does depend on what "is" is.

Isn’t the fact that Left has resorted to resurrecting old Bill from whatever intern he was busy servicing proof enough that they are trying to scare the daylights out of voters? Seeing Slick Willy pop up scared the daylights out of me.

@porwest Well, it won’t be long before the election is here and we see what direction the country heads in.

@moffittjc I would say we SHOULD be headed for a red wave. But anymore I don't think anything is a given because very little makes sense anymore.

It is certainly telling of where the party is, and I think adds to the sense that there is a LOT of fear going into the mid terms and ultimately 2024 that the party is in some serious doo-doo here.
Even ole James Carville is making a come back.

Politics - I don't believe the politicians. Promises and lies are their forte to lure the electorate.

@Nakitakona Which is a good thing, but ONLY if people bother to keep track of the track record. Many do not. And thus, here we are.

@porwest The track records of those politicians will tell the truth.

I honestly had to scratch my head a bit on that one. Then one wonders why Bill Clinton is coming out of the shadows a bit lately? Dems lining up to protect Biden? I don't think so. They know their party is in some serious doo-doo right now. They are protecting the party because they know Biden's coming at it with a wrecking ball.
