Drip Drip Drip

We are slowly losing our democracy. So scary. The time to save democracy is before it is lost. Anti-Semitic attacks are happening more than ever before. I still remember when America was called a melting pot. Different cultures melting together and it is lovely in the bigger cities to see these neighborhoods. I find it interesting to live in a country with so many different cultures. Not everyone feels this way, however. Democrats and Republicans both have the same amount of senators. Two each per state is a recipe for disaster. I don't agree with the electoral college and am hearing a lot about this right now. I think Trump is going to use this again if he runs for president. There needs to be a change in how the vote is counted. Immigration is a real sore spot. I recall the Family Separation Policy and how Trump tried to back out after starting. So much is said about his immigration help and what about the things he was saying behind the scenes? Two-faced if you ask me. Drip, drip, drip. More and more each day. We are going to flood ourselves right out of a democracy. I don't think there is anything because the Constitution is not something so easily changed. The First Amendment( freedoms concerning religion, expression, assembly, and the right to petition.) is where it is at. What in the world can we do? We really have to be careful who is voted into any office nowadays. Just expressing my displeasure I suppose. Thanks for reading.

We need some good ones here Neither side has enough good ones. Maybe we need more parties but then that will weaken what we have. I just don't know.

I do not blame you for expressing your views since the America that I knew back in the 1970s is worse with all of the strife right now.

And we have no strong delegates on either side with the integrity and intellect to bring this country back from this horror that is happening.

It's scary for me because I came from the government of the 60s and 70s. The world has changed so much that it's hard to believe.

I agree with you. I am deeply disturbed and worried about America. This has gone way beyond politics. This horror is bringing out all the low lifes and helping them to believe they can do whatever and whenever. You bet I am voting and I pray that does something somehow.

And things like Qanon aren't helping. White supremacy and how Trump is getting them rangled together is very scary. So if Trump is found guilty of any of these charges you can bet that streets will be lined with them fighting for their guy Trump. It is just horrible to think of them in his corner.
