Happy Saturday, or Caturday as we like to to refer to it around here. Oh lets face it, every day is Caturday. Nico was just fighting with one of the resident squirrels through the glass. They are both very brave when several layers of glass separates them. In real life, I think both would be running the other direction if they encountered each other,,although Nico might get brave if he thought he had the element of surprise on his side. Nothing much going on around here, but I will take some things for donation later on. I will also make a quiche. What is happening in your neck of the woods?

Nothing much here. Going to get my window in my car pulled up, it fell off track, and won't go up.

Oh boy..I have a window that is slow to roll up, so I am not using it. Luckily it is on the passenger side.

I hope he is OK. Nico seems he is munching every 15 minutes. Whenever there is a lull in the action he wants to eat.

I love quiche, but haven't had any in quite a while.
We had a 'wild' bunny wandering thru our niece's backyard today while the 75-80 of us gathered.
We all thought it was for sure Rick, who recently passed as the bunny was tame enough for us to pet it.

Back when I had a dog here, he killed a squirrel, I never heard anything but he was outside for an absurdly long time, and when I checked on him he was carrying the body of a squirrel, and buried it along side the house somewhere.

I'm taking the day easy. The most active thing I did was take my trash out to the dumpster and check my mail. I did make my bed too. With the way my ankle hurts I don't want to do too much. I may tackle the paperwork from the fire that PG&E caused that burned down my home. I have an attorney that might be interested in handling the case. I also have some work to do for a friend of mine who runs the bear making supply house that I order from. I also should do some work on bears. But for the most part I've been playing computer games and staying kicked back and giving my ankle a rest.
Petey and Jonesy are also taking the day off, they are napping on my bed and my work box. Petey doesn't like for me to get out of his sight with my painful ankle. He will be very unhappy Monday when I go to the Orthopedic Doctor for him to check on my ankle.

Taking it easy may be the way to go I didn't do alot today either, but I can't use a broken ankle as an excuse

@snowy22315 You don't need an excuse to take it easy, there are a lot of people that would be jealous because we didn't do a lot.
I woke up this morning wanting to do something, but my ankle is arguing with me, along with the rest of the pain I have from the accident. I am going to try to get the paperwork organized to send to the attorney regarding the fire the PG&E caused that burned down my home. I'm hoping to get it sent off this week.

It was sunny this AM but now we are in the clouds. I wonder if it is gong to stay like this because they say possible rain Sunday afternoon.

It's a great family bonding we had had last Sunday ss we spent our family day at the newly opened mountain resort on top of the mountain here.
