Today has been quite eventful. Nothing very big or spectacular.
Yet there has been one thing or the other
1)Woke up early and had Tea. Then we had to prepare for Feasting Brahmins at a temple and asking them to offer prayers on our behalf.
It was the last day - Amavasya (New Moon Day ) Shraddha or Pitr Paksh day (days of remembering ancestors or forefathers).
2)Had a nice lunch- a bit heavy but enjoyable.
3)Caught up on rest in the afternoon.
4)Had nice tea, and an evening walk.
5)Time spent on FC and here
Next I plan to continue with my book read (The Lincoln Highway by Amor Towles).
So small things here and there and well, its Sunday evening now!

We also woke up early morning to Pitr paksha day. We went to the temple. And had a heavy breakfast and no lunch. But I couldn't sleep in the afternoon because I had to assist my kids with maths as they have an exam on Tuesday.
Now I am feeling a bit sleepy. I will sleep early today after having dinner tonight.

Kids need extra help with Maths and with SST as well (so many historical things to memorize) !.
Well, it's not easy parenting!

The Morning wasn't that relaxed. The food preparation took longer than expected and we were a bit stressed.
The afternoon and the evening were better though.

The book reading routine took some backseat during the Festivals - a lot of them occurred in October.
Now spending some time here and there.
I will give a personal book review, may be after a few weeks.

Looks like the festivals across religions coincide in their date.
Today 26 Sep 2022 is the first day of Navratri (Nine days of Fasting, Prayers and Feasting in honor of Goddess Durga and her different forms).
