Busy Morning

I am down to 8 tires to move. And I might keep one of them thats at the bottom of the stack. So I made good progress there. I would have moved a couple more but the wind was cold and strong. I did also get my 4 hanging baskets cleaned out before it got too chilly outside.
By the time that was done hubby was watching football. So I went to my room and started Ghost Whisperer. I also got a flat planted full of succulents. The rest of the time I mostly colored. But I did get my knitting started a little bit.
We got word about 12:30 that hubbies friend had passed. We didnt go over as his wifes son and grandson was with her. So we knew she wasnt alone.
It was trying to rain when I took the memory cards out to put in the cameras. But that didnt last very long. Of course it did last the whole time I was outside.

We got up to 73F today but are supposed to be around 50F by morning. We need to either bring the pepper plants inside or pick the ones big enough to use. Same with the tomatoes. If the temps go much lower than 50F, we'll lost the crops anyway.
Nothing going on here today except my laptop is dying. The pixels in the top left corner of the screen are shutting down and the black area is slowly getting bigger. I guess it's time to switch over to the new laptop. (I just don't like learning new machines.)

I havent looked. If we made 60 it was barely. Most things are done here. I will pick the last of the hot peppers this Friday.
I just gave hubby a couple of Christmas ideas and one is a tablet with detachable keyboard. I am getting tired of fighting with this laptop. It does updates that never finish when I am trying to do something.

@wolfgirl569 We have several tablets with detachable keyboards. One thing you need to remember is not to detach the keyboard and reattach it often, if at all. Pretty kept taking the keyboard off her tablet and it stopped accepting the keyboard after a few times of that. I've never taken my keyboard off and it still works fine.

@DaddyEvil We already have an extra one that works through the USB port so I can always switch to that if I need to. But I am sure it will be attached most of the time.

I'm sorry about your hubby's friend. Tires. Tons left on the land at our old place. I used some to grow tomatoes and peppers in. I used some to prop a couple of boards on for a found bench. Many happy moments spent down on that found bench, looking, talking with the dogs. Probably the new people thought it a pile of junk.

I have used them to plant in. Still have some for that. Also had a bunch in with the goats. They played on them. But even if I get some more goats they dont need as many as I had.

I'm so sorry to hear about your hubby's friend passing. Please pass along my condolences to your husband. It's been raining off and on for 2 days now. We are expected to get 2-4" more with a flood watch in effect. Doesn't sound like you got much rain. Have a good week.

Getting many things prepped for winter now.
Starting some throws that if they turn out right will be presents later. Maybe next Christmas.
