Do you sell/ donate books after reading it or keep it in bookshelves??!!

Hi guys,
Hope you all are doing good. I am doing well too.
I have a love for reading different kinds of books since college graduation days. I like to read books of these genres like Motivational and Inspiring books, Light Reading Fiction books, Romantic Novels, Biographies etc.
I generally buy books when there is discount or sale going on and try to read atleast one book in a month.
After reading, I generally donate the books as I feel that knowledge should be shared among others and to those who have love for reading but aren't able to afford buying it.
However, I keep some favourite books with myself at times too. Let me know do you like to read? Which genre interests you? How often you read? And the answer to the question given in topic. Let me know your thoughts on it. Have a great day!! Take care!!

@rashmag I read constantly and I find it so difficult to donate my books, even though I know I will not be reading them again. A few I re-read, but mostly I just hold on to them. Most of the books I have are in French so it’s hard to find anyone who would be interested in them.

I either try to sell/put in a book exchange box, or give them to someone I know is reading the same series.

I don't like to donate books. After reading, I usually have it in my collection.

Back then i like to read and buy books but now i dont have much time to do it, so i dont buy books right now unless i want it so bad and read it till finish. I still remember when i was in college, i bought so many books till i found out i didnt read some of them.

I tend to keep books. But if there are certain books which I don't think I'll read it again, I donate them to the library in our community center.

That's a very good idea of sharing book knowledge. Not only do you declutter your home, but you pass on something useful to someone who might be interested in that topic! I do the same, although my goal is decluttering, but it is nice to know there is another purpose
