We got up at about 745 and started our day. We went up to my grandma in laws and started painting. The other half painted all the door trim while I painted the bathroom cabinets. We have to go up tomorrow and finish that up, and then do the kitchen cabinets. The paint we used takes forever and a half to dry, so I couldn't get the doors in the bathroom put back on the cabinets.
After that we went to Taco Bell and picked up food. That way the kids had a treat when they got home and we ate for the first time of the day.
So that's the excitement of today. Here in about an hour we are going to head out and get a case of water and some ice cream. You know the important stuff for the hurricane that may or may not hit us.

I am praying for you that the hurricane does not make a direct hit in your city since it will take a long time to have electricity and basic needs back up and running.

We have generators, and a fifteen by fifteen room full of food prepped.

I sure hope Ian just takes a hike away from all of us. I have already mentioned that Daytona Beach mostly gets really heavy rains so I am hoping that on Thursday I can still get to the store and back if I need to,

It looks like we are just getting rain. But if it gets bad, we will go up to the property that Chris' grandma owns and hide out in the apartment.
