A Busy Morning So Far

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Brrr it's a chilly start to this day and I should have put on something a little bit warmer. I'm still wearing short sleeves and I think I'm going to have to change.
Yesterday I enjoyed sitting outside and getting some fresh air. The sun was shining, it was warm enough without it being hot and a beautiful breeze. I just enjoyed being outside without a book, the radio or my phone.
Since it's chilly today I'm thinking about making a pot of lentil soup. The slow cooker is already siting on my kitchen island and instead of putting it away I should use it.
The garage door company came very early this morning and I'm happy to say that nothing major was wrong. He spent about half an hour lubricating the seal around the track and that seems to be what was causing the door to make such a loud noise when opening. He said we need to open it more often as the seal will get stuck without use. I'm not one to argue because I know nothing about automatic garage doors. But I will take his advice and make sure we open and shut the door at least every other day or so.
So, that was good news and I can't wait to see what they charge me for that service call.
I feel like I've already put in a full day already but it's not even noon.

I'm thinking about making some beet soup, so I better go out to the garden and pull some. It's not the most pleasant day today (16°C/61°F) but if the sun manages to stay out it might get a degree or two warmer. It's already at the predicted high, though.

It was nice yesterday, I was busy doing my steps and it was a nice day for it.Today is nice too, but on the cool side should go down to the mid 40's tonight. Time for the fleece again. Glad your garage door problem was nothing major.

I love lentils and don't make lentil soup as often as I should. I always have a can of Progresso Lentil soup in the pantry but it's not as good as homemade just more convenient

The morning was off to a chilly start but it got up to about 60 this afternoon and sunny.

We have good weather here. We are feeling a bit cold even under the fan.
That is good that your garage gate is fixed. You should have pit lubricating oil/grease by yourself when the gate makes a noose while opening. How much charge did the person take?

I am glad you have good news and can take care of the noise with the garage door. The change of weather could sneak up on us. Soup and having something warm is a good idea.

Good to know that there's no major problem with your garage door. Lentil soup sounds good. I completed an assignment today. It's quite a challenging one. The client paid me well.

I'm thinking your idea of "chilly" and mine may be two very different temps. 
Pretty's doctor made a change to one of her meds last night so as soon as we were notified the meds were ready, Pretty made me get up, get dressed and take her to get it. (She was wearing long jeans, sneakers and a winter coat. I was dressed in jean shorts, sandals and a tank top. Pretty told me I was making her cold when she looked at me. 
It was 60F this morning when she made me take her to Wally World.)
